| Hi amdtrt1, welcome to the forum. ![]() Sounds like you need to see either a neurologist or an ENT (Ear-Nose-Throat specialist). Auditory hallucinations could be simple partial seizures. Many people develop seizure disorders after experiencing a high fever. An MRI might be able to determine if there is any scarring in the brain as a result of the fever. An EEG recording when you experience the hallucinations would probably be your best bet for determining if the episode is a seizure or not.

| Welcome Amdtrt1 - really glad that you found a place to share your "secret". Have faith that there is someone out there to help you figure this out. There are a lot of alternatives that can help too.

| Dear amdtrt1, Your symptoms need a workup . I agree with Bernard. get to an ENT and to a neurologist. It could also be a psychiatric problem if you have experienced a severe trauma in the past. You will definitely need an MRI ( preferably with gadolinium contrast) and EEG. Once those come back , you will also need some blood work to rule out other causes of your attacks . Get yourself checked up - it's important. Get well soon

| Hi amdtrt1! Welcome to CWE. Like everyone else, I think you need to go to the doctor. Go see a neurologist as well as an ENT. Also, keep a log of how many times these "spells" happen, how long they last, and how often. Try keeping a log of how much sleep you get each night, what you eat and drink and when and how much. You might find that it's something you're doing or consuming that's triggering the spells. The log will give your doctor more information.
