Hello

I am a ph.d scholar.
I lost consciousness for the first time while reading a novel on a hot summer day. I was twenty years old then. after three years ,second time i lost consciousness when i was reading a fan fiction on computer in morning. I was on fast and was thirsty. After seven years, third time i lost consciousness when i was reciting my religious book on a hot summer day. I lost consciousness only for half an hour. I experience severe headache all the day after this event.

I checked with the doctor and had MRI and EEG. MRI showed a shadow in one of photos. EEG showed weak signs of epilepsy.

I am now taking medications two times a day. Hope to get well soon.

Hello pasmon! Welcome to CWE. We're a very friendly group, and very supportive. So feel free to ask questions. Also, check out the Epilepsy 101 thread. Just from what I've read, have you considered that heat might be one of your seizure triggers? The three times you described, your body may have been overheated. If that's the case, then you know how to prevent the seizures. Just a thought. Anway, welcome to the group. Feel free to wander around, read, ask questions, or vent. Keep in touch.

Hello Pasmon,
I'm Teresa. Welcome to the forum. I think you will like it here. I have a very severe case of epilepsy. And my 10 year old has it. My best friend has a PHD and her son had epilepsy now is in a wheel chair. This has been very difficult on her . She feels that her education is getting her nowhere. I Can't even imagine what you are going through.

Hello again

Dear all

I think that you are quite correct in your conclusion in pointing heat as the main culprit. I should balance the intensity of my activities in order to have a normal life.

Anyway my epilepsy is a very light one. It may be a thousand times smaller in magnitude than a realistic one.

I wish that the person you mentioned is in the wheelchair gets healed both spiritually and physically.
