Hello I am new

Hi I am new to this. I am the Mom of 15 year son that has had seizures since age 3 after pesticide exposure. Nightmare!!!
Stupid person using chemicals. There should be a law that prohibits STUPID people from handling dangerous things. But all and all my son is here and for that I am thankful

Oh my goodness... that does sound like a nightmare.
If I knew that it was "someone" that caused my daughters seizures I would have had a much more difficult time over the past 2 yrs.

Welcome to CWE, I am sure you have a wealth of knowledge that we all can learn from.
There are quite a few parents of teens here, who can relate.

Glad you joined us.

Hi busymom, welcome to the forum.

If you don't mind my asking... What pesticide was it? I'm curious if it was an inhalant, skin contact or ingested?

Make yourself at home here.

Thumbs down

safrotin
it was sprayed all around the room instead of spot to spot/only in the corners like it shoud have been. Thus it was ingested via air and on skin by way his toys
If it mixed correctly it may not have been soo toxic but it was not diluted properly.

Even if a child is never vaccinated and has no amalgam filled cavities, he or she will still be exposed to a host of toxins in the environment. Over half the population in the United States lives in counties that have unhealthful levels of ozone and particulate pollution. Pesticide exposure also represents a significant danger for the growing child as well as for everyone else. Diazinon, malathion, Dursban, Vapona, Orthene and Safrotin are easily absorbed into the skin, breathed into the lungs, or ingested in food.

...terrible that this gets into the wrong hands.
