Hello - I'm a newbie...

Hello, all! I am new to the forum and looking forward to learning lots of valuable info here (as well as hopefully making lots of new friends)! My real name is Jenny, but please feel free to call me WEEJ - - EVERYBODY does... I'm 27 years old, and I suffer from both absence AND tonic-clonic seizures. I may not log in EVERY day, but I should be able to check in at least a couple of times a week. Please shoot me a message if you're interested in adding me to your FRIENDS ! ! !

Welcome Weej

It's good to have you here. It's definitely a great place for information. I'm sure you have lots to share as well since you have 2 kinds of seizures. Meanwhile get comfortable & check out the nooks & crannies of the site. There's a lot to see here.

I have to ask though, how'd you get the name Weej?

HEY - - Nice to see a couple of replies so soon! I'm off to bed momentarily, just thought i'd give you that explanation while i'm still signed in... I used to work at this company, and each employee had his/her own individual 4-letter code to use on things such as timesheets, work logs, etc (basically, anywhere they "signed off" on anything) - - and the 4 letters consisted of the FIRST 3 letters of your LAST name, plus the FIRST letter of your FIRST name... So for the sake of example, Elvis Presley would have been "PREE", Jack Bauer would have been "BAUJ". My code was "WEEJ", and it has stuck with me for almost the last 20 years - - Even my BOSS introduces me to people that way! So there ya go, probably not as exciting as you had hoped... but that's the story and i'm stickin' to it! Have a good night!

HI YA'LL NEWBIES!!!

Sit down, take your hat off, and shoes off (PEEEUUUUU - put them suckers back on), and stay and have a cup of at least water with us - no - not that water - it comes from the still out back - no not that either - that comes from granny's pot under her bed - ya better just stick to nuthin' cause then ya won't get sick!! No peanut butter in this house!!

Have fun, ask questions, we are each uniquely our own entity - whoa - profound - must've dug down deep for that one.

(Ya never guess I had a 4.0 GPA in college once - hang around us and you might end up in the corner)

In all seriousness, welcome, and do ask as many questions as you want to, you need to be informed and supported - - uh, sorry, couldn't resist.

((((((((((NEWBIES)))))))))

Jenny!

Welcome to CWE and glad to see you coming
in with a lot of humor!

I really don't have a "Code" Name but I have
a nickname and NO - I am not from Boston!
But it's rather based to the fact I am a lefty,
a south-paw, hence - "Southie" - so I go by
either name. (However, I've been called a lot
of other names - LOL!)

Make yourself a home here ... however, that
beanbag chair over there is MINE!
