Hey, i'm new here.

Hello everyone, the names Brett. I don't know what exactly to put here, I don't know if I should put something about myself or if I am done at hello. I guess I have been diagnosed with epilepsy since I was in the 8th grade, I am now 20 years old and have been trying technical schools.

I've had a few grand mul (spelling?) seizures but so far I am a year and a few months free without having them. As for the pills I take, I take depakote. If you have any questions I guess feel free to ask.

Welcome Brett

There's a few people here that have frequent gand mal (tonic/clonic) seizures. I'm lucky in that I've had no more than about 10 in my life (not bad when you're 50).

Make yourself at home & feel free to join in if you see a topic that you like.

Hi NK1990, welcome!

I've had my share of grand mals, but am also seizure-free for the time being. Knock on wood.... Make yourself at home!

Best,
Nakamova

Hi NK,

Yup, I've had my fair share of grand mals, although a few other types are starting to show up more now...although in my sleep.

I've been on Depakote as well before, too. It did well at controlling my t/c's (grand mals--I call them tonic clonics or t/c's) for years. I had to go off because of an interaction between another med, and a huge weight gain.

Glad to meet you, you're going to enjoy it here, I promise. You're going to find plenty of friends, lots of information and fun while you're here.

Check out all of the nooks and crannies while you're here. Put your feet up, relax and have fun. Mr B has built us an AWESOME home here. The party's going, and lots of fun, so join in!

Take care!

Meetz
