Welcome Chibi

I've had epilepsy since I was born. Kinda weird when you just think of it as part of who you are.

Good to have you here. What kind of seizures do you have & what kind of medications/ controls are you using to help your seizures?

Also, I moved your post to the foyer so that everyone can welcome you to CWE.

I'm on Tegretol right now. I've been on it so long I don't really notice the side-effects.

It's interesting to discover what other things might be epilepsy that you never knew were. You might want to check out this list of seizure types & see if anything else rings relevant to you. http://www.webmd.com/epilepsy/guide/...their-symptoms

I noticed when I was carbamazepine that I would trip a lot and be more awake in the night time. Thanks for the information I found out that I stare blankly at objects while in lessons which made me miss out on most of my education so hopefully keppra will help with them.

Good luck with the Keppra, it does help a lot of people but a lot of the side effects are emotional. Watch out for depression & anger (kepprage) especially.

If you do find those side-effects acting up, some people have found that vitamine B6 or a vitamine B comples has helped with the anger
