Smile Hi AGAIN!!!

Hi
I really thought i should re introduce myself as my attempt yesterday was vague to say the least.
My name is Alan I am 31 years old and i have suffered with Epilepsy for 5 years now, my last episode was actually yesterday morning 20 minutes after arriving to my job hence my post yesterday being short and not very sweet! after yesterday's episode my fiancee of 14 years Kellie took me to A+E as something took place which has never happened before which was the blood vessels around my eyes and on top of my head burst causing a bruise like appearance ( I am rather thin on top now thats how we could see it so good on my head) the Dr who I saw actually gave me the name of this but i won't even try to spell it! after keeping me in for about 2 hours i was allowed to come home where i slept for a coupl of hours then i woke up and thats when i did my really poor first intro.
my Epilepsy seems to have worsened recently for no apparent reason with 3 really bad fits in 6 weeks which is really affecting my confidence and my family life ( I also have 2 children by the way Connor Derry aged 6 and Ava Grace aged 10 months) that's when i trawled for some help and found this site. i still don't feel 100% today so if this post is a little patchy and doesn't make much sense please forgive me, hopefully my future ones will be much better

Hi Alan,

No need to apologize! "E" can be very funny at times, coming out of no where with a vengence but hopefully if you can get things under control it will settle out. Feel free to ask as many questions as you want and vent/rant all you want as well. Hopfully you can have a restful day today.

Take Care,

Welcome Alan. No need to worry about 'off' posts. Most of us have them from time to time, just part of this darn E. We all understand.

Make yourself at home here. It is a great place to get help, learn, and simply relax.

Hi Alan, welcome!

It's worth trying to get a handle on why your seizures have suddenly worsened. Maybe it's the stress of having a 6-year-old and a ten-month-old? Perhaps your meds need adjusting, or maybe you can identify a trigger -- like fatigue -- and do your best to avoid it.

I hope you recover from this latest bout, and feel better soon.

Best,
Nakamova
