Hi graham281, welcome to CWE!

I'm sorry you've been having such a tough time with diagnosis and treatment. Some seizures originate too deep in the brain to register on an EEG or MRI, so that may be what's going on in your case. Even without having an exact cause or diagnosis, there are things you can do. This is a good place to start:

Proactive Prescription for Epilepsy

Is there an stressor that seems to trigger your seizures? The number one stress for people with seizure disorders is fatigue, but there are many other things can play a role including diet, hydration, illness, and a variety of physical, physiological, and emotional stressors. If you keep a seizure journal, you may be identify and perhaps avoid seizure triggers.

You'll find lots of good company here at CWE. I hope you'll feel free to check out the different forums and threads, and contribute to them as well.

Best,
Nakamova
