Red face Hi from Louisville Ky

I am new to this site today. Have been suffering from Night-Time Clonic Tonic seizures now for about 6-7 years. Mine only occur at night soon after falling asleep and so far have been well controlled on Keppra XR (with a whole year between seizures at one point). I still drive and can function during the day with no problems, even my day time Aura ( complete with Deja Vu and Hot Flashes) have been gone for a couple years. Now I face a financial crisis that is going to make it very hard to pay for that Keppra Brand XR. Anyone here with my specific type of seizures who may have changed to generic keppra?

Hi Rich, welcome to CWE!

I haven't tried keppra, but i did make the transition from the brand version of Lamictal to generic without a hitch.

You may still be able to get the Keppra XR. Check out this thread:
When You Can't Afford Medication

Best,
Nakamova
