I met President Obama

Here is a link to an article about my class going to Washington D.C. for a program and course for deaf-blind adults.. one part of this trip was to meet with Senators and Congressmen and their staff to discuss policy issues dealing with our deaf-blind community.
Everyone take care..

Yes it went real well. Better than I would have thought. Even though the course part of it was real intense we got to speak with many important Senators and Congressmen and staff members about important topics relating to us in the deaf-blind community. So meeting the President was just amazing. Helen Keller was the last deaf-blind person meet a president. No other deaf-blind or goup has done that since she did.
It was a true honor for us all.

Wow, that is amazing that no one from the deaf-blind community has met with a president in such a long time. Great opportunity for you and you should be proud of it.
