Im new too

Hello every one My name is Zontonnia moore, I have had siezures since the day i was born , Doctors called it Panic attacks, fevers, acting out up untill i was 15 and had a seizure they ciouldnt call anything else, I had from the smallest twitch to Gra-Mal's Im 24 now and havent had an UN-Controlled siezure since. I work with my mind eat very little if i do eat its fruits or healthy food. I sleep alot, and Im an artist, i taech my mind new things and also let it teach me. Through my siezures i have found a new way to look at life, I do not let my siezures take controll of my life instead i use them to see what they see.If that makes any sense. I do like talking and helping others find ways to work with their siezures.

Hi NomedArt, welcome to CWE!

There are lots of good creative folks here, you'll fit right in.

It sounds like you control your epilepsy, not the other way around. That's great! Are you on medication now, or have you found that diet alone does the trick for controlling your seizures?

Best,
Nakamova

Actual its not just the diet, its also my envirment, I think epilepsy takes the world around you and brings it in, I do smoke marijuana to help with the stress and feeling of falling apart. its not medicaited but it works and still works alot better then my topamax and other meds.

hi! looks l ike we have quite a few t hings in common zonntonia (simple partial?) i had my first noticeable tonic clonic when i was 14. the docs kinda misdiagnosed my other seizures too. didnt call it a disorder till i was 17. i am 23 now. and also and artist. what kind of art do u do? i used to smoke pot (still wish i did HAHA) but because of my surroundings i have been forced to quit. but i once had a seizure after smoking a lil and the docs in the ER said it was a pseudo.. i felt like an idiot. im glad ur able to do it controlled though. :-)

Hi, Welcome to our forum.

It was made by Bernard out of love for his wife Stacy. That love permeates throughout all of CWE.

Glad to have you here. We are a large family.

I even got it to where i use a controlled siezure for a high. Like a shot of pure adrelinem, i dont know how to spell the word, but if you pronounce it youll get it

Hi there

NomedArt! How are you?

I envy you, you have an ability I am NOWHERE close to having--drawing! I can barely do a stick figure. I am jealous!

I hope you like it here at CWE. There's plenty of new people to meet, and lots of information to find and learn. We even have a Padded Room for ya if ya feel the need to vent--and trust me, we all feel the need now and again!

Take care!

Meetz

Hi Hon

Welcome to CWE, hope you get as much from as we all do, you will meet some real characters on here, and if you get anything you want to ask us, go ahead and ask. You seem to have a very positive outlook to your epilepsy, so keep that up, I think positivity really helps with this complex condition!
I've had brain surgery twice for my simple and complex partials, still having problems, I've studied epilepsy at University, and I'm working on a book about my experiences, so welcome again to CWE and I just wanted to let you know that you are amongst friends here, we all have one thing in common here.....Dodgy Brains!!

Love

Elaine x

Hello Zontonnia - My daughter controls her seizures by making nutritional changes as well. I hope you find CWE to be a supportive environment for you.

I would love to see your art. There are artists here at CWE. My mother did pencil drawings. She said that you get more detailed art from pencil drawings. You can put in an album in CWE where we can all see it. Just press on Pictures and Albums.

Thanks, and i am also working on a book about seizures, except its not about how they start, mine is about what they create and where they come from, like the meaning of them. A siezure though is causes much pain is the back door to death. We can go in and out of our minds if we controll or siezures, i wish you the best of luck of dealing with yours and on your book

I am looking forward to reading your book. Let me know when it is finished. In the Creative Writing Page, they are writing a book. I do not know how long it will be. The name of it is: Trading in The Diamonds. You can read it and see what you think.

Some know how to write a book, there and some just want to join in.

You wished me luck on my book. I am afraid that I am not writing a book.
