Just saying Hey!

Hello,

Thought I'd introduce myself. I just found this site while at work trying to find a less expensive alternative to my brand name meds. I've read a few posts and this seems like a great place.

Currently I am on a mix on Keppra XR and Depakote ER and have been seizure free for 2+years. I started having seizures when I was in my mid teens, although I didn't realize what they were until I was 21 and had my first seizure in public at work. Until then they had been at night and I would either wake up with a headache, or on the floor confused... I would usually just shrug it off.

I still have occaisons where I'll have a bad day and I'll have an aura, but I'll take it easy for a day then be good to go. It usually only happens when I've had a long week at work or don't get enough sleep.

Hey VR4Legacy, welcome to the party!

There's a lot of great info here, and the members of CWE are a superb resource for advice and support. Make yourself at home!

Best,
Nakamova
