My Intro My name is Rose. I am 48 and was diagnosed with Left Temporal lobe Epilepsy when I was 17. I am currently on Tegretol and am involved in a research study at oregon Health Sciences University in Portland oregon using behavior modification to control seizures. Since I began the study in November 2004, I have had 6 seizures and have been able to stop about 10 others. I have also been able to stop auras using deep breathing and relaxation techniques I have learned. I am the mother of a seventeen year old son and step mom to two other teenager boys, ages 16 and 18.    |
