Need Advice

I live in a first floor flat, and i have had a few close calls on the stairs and near the top,i thought it would be safer if i moved to a ground floor accomadation, but the housing medical officer has decided that the place im living in is suitible for my medical needs,i have four siezures a week, and its not only the fallng down but the sort of drunken terrefied strange way i am after a siezure it would be so easy to fall downstairs, and my biggest worry is taking someone down with me.

Do you have medication, if so, maybe it should be adjusted? Other than that, I agree with the previous you should try going higher up in management, or get the news or media involved, they might bring attention to it and put pressure on the building management.

Thanks for your advice since i posted this question,i began to feel offended by the drs not very interested attitude,i got in touch with his employers and asked if they had a complaints procedure........within ten mins i got a call telling me the doc had re- looked over my appeal and decided that this flat "is" a risk to my health,so im pleased and my wife is over the moon. xx
