Need some quick advise,please

Hello my name is Donny and this is my first post.

i am making this post on behalf of my mother. She is a 61 year's old who had a subdural hematoma back about 10 or so years ago.

since then she has had a few seizures all gran mal.

she has been on dialysis for 18 month now and since, I've noticed that her seizure activity has increased dramatically. she had about 4 seizures within a year.

so here goes my question....

for the past 4-5 days she has been getting heat flashes. and for the past 48 hours she has been twitching or shivering, to me it looks like she is really cold.
her head & shoulders shiver and she says that some times she feels a jerk in either her arm or shoulder.also her left hand is weak and she has a headace.

i called her Dr and he told me just to watch her.

I'm praying you guys can give me some kind of info.

thank you in advance to all your help.

Doesn't sound like your doctor is giving very sound advice. It sounds like she needs to be observed by a medical specialist. Do you have urgent care near by?

I am sorry but with all the additional issues she has I don't have much else to offer.

Good luck, she is lucky to have you available to help her.

What you describe do sound like seizure-related reactions. Dialysis can definitely cause or increase seizure activity. (See link below for more info):

I would definitely ask your mother's doctor to address this, and if he won't then find a doctor who will.

Best,
