| Hi, FSWHong! I'm sorry to hear about your upcoming surgery. We've had quite a bit of chat in here about making friends, and who we tell about our seizures. Everybody feels differently about it. I'm hoping you have a few people in your life that love you no matter what - seizures and all. And now you have us, too. The CWE forum is a great place, with wonderful people. You'll like hanging out in here. |

Thank You Thank you Endless. Must have written wrongly and let you mistaken what I mean. I already had my surgery quite a while ago. Yes, do notice that there are a lot of people talking about the sickness here. A good place to talk about it here. |

| How did your surgery come out? Did I read correctly that they couldn't completely address everything? How are you feeling? I have heard the medical care in Singapore is very good. Some people in the United States go there for care because it is less expensive than in the United States. Have you been able to find good doctors? I'm very curious - how do people in Singapore think about epilepsy and people with seizures? Are they accepting? Here in America some people are okay with people who have seizures, and some are very uncomfortable. Do you have laws in Singapore that prevent discrimination? |

Epilepsy Well, it was quite a few years ago that I had the surgery. Like I wrote, they could not remove all the affected parts as it would affected half the body. As for feeling, still having the attacks coming and on medication. Still on my usual old doctor, did not dare to jump doctors due to the history. Whether Singaporeans are accepting I'm not quite sure, as it is hard for people with this sickness to get jobs. There are groups which will help us to look for jobs. I don't think there are laws to prevent discrimination in singapore. |
