| It must be so frustrating for you to continue to have seizures after having undergone such a major surgery to control them. What type of seizures did you have prior to the surgery? Are the doctors offering you any help? Although, helpful doctors are kind of hard to come by. I know Robin has quite a bit of info on Neurofeedback. Have you tried that? If not it may be something that could be helpful to your situation. ![]() |

| Hi haird18, welcome to the forum. ![]() Unfortunately, it appears that initial studies on the efficacy of brain surgeries only monitored patients through 6 months. More recent longer term studies are showing that the chances of seizure activity returning increase as time goes by: Quote :
EEG neurofeedback (or OchsLabs LENS system) are options for retraining the brain. Based upon my wife's experience and all the research I've done on them, I highly recommend it if you can afford it.
