New Here, Pupil Constriction

I did not know where to start but this seemed logical. I have no history of epileptologist. but over the last year my pupils stay pretty much constricted ( no pain -good vision one eye but other poor due to unrelated cause ) I have history of irititus and last year after 30 years of missed diagosis ( THOUGHT i HAD TRIGEMINAL NUERALGIA - TIC DE LARUE) A PAIN MD figured out I had chronic proxysymal hemialcrania which is under contrao with endomethican ? ( spelling ). Any ideas as to why my eyes stay contricted without pain and still good site. Thanks Age 70 take heart med coreg and plavix

I can tell you that I had problems with my pupils after I had the right temp. lobe surgery for epilepsy. I KNOW the cause was either A. Lamictal (anti-seizure med) or B. not being weaned off steroids properly (rather than weaning off I was actually raising the dose as the pharmacist had given me a higher dose than my original prescription and then I ended up stopping it at a much higher dose than what I started with).

In any case...my body was battling Lamictal and steroids (although by this time I was no longer on steroids but considering I didn't wean off I had some problems). It's tough to say which one was causing the problem since a lot of these drugs cause similar symptoms. In the meantime, no where did I read anything about these drugs causing problems with the pupils but clearly it was the meds since I never had that problem nor have I ever had it again (I'm not on meds today). I never did find a whole lot of info on this but I KNOW it was the meds...along with a bunch of other problems they caused me. So I'm going to go with possibly the heart meds that you're taking.
