Wink New and keen to learn more about Epilepsy

My 13 year old daughter had her first fit in Oct 2010 and 2nd in Nov 2010.
We started her on Lamictin 100mg twice a day. Then added Keppra 750mg twice a day. Weaned her off the Keppra and started her on Zarontin - 12.5ml twice a day.
Her EEG shows that it is not totally under control, but we getting there I think.
Tegan gets little muscle spasms if she is over tired or stressed for exams.
She had concentration lapses which is a concern for studying and paying attention in class.

Hi Terri, welcome!

Epilepsy can be tough on teens, for so many reasons. I hope your daughter continues to make good progress.

Best,
Nakamova
