new and in need of advice

Hello, my name is Casandra and I have a 7 yr old daughter with epilepsy. She is having a real hard time taking meds and I'm running out of ideas. Any ideas are warmly welcome. Thank you.

Hi Cassy, welcome to the forums.

Is she having a hard time physically swallowing pills or just refusing to do it? I'm afraid I don't much experience in that area (yet?). Have you checked with your pharmacist to see if the drugs are available in alternate forms?

Hi Cassy

Hello There!
My name is Anesa and I am a 25 year old epilepsy patient WHO IN FACT used to be in the same situation that you are in with my mother. What she used to do is crush my pills and mix them in my food. Or applesauce. I soon caught on after a few years. I certainly hope this will work.
