Red face New to the site

Hi, I'm new to the site and I'm trying to post a new thread. I've never done this before, so I hope it works, I really would like someone to talk to sometimes. I've had uncontrollable epilepsy for 5 yrs, but I'm not very good with computers. I hope some one out there gets this.

Cool Welcome Kenya!...

Make yourself at home. There are many fine folks here willing to talk! Most of which have REALLY good information you might find useful too!

Peace!

Red face

Hi Keyna ~ Look how many times I've posted and I STILL can't do it right most of the time ...
But I think that's because of all the cat hair in my keyboard

Hi Keyna, welcome to the forum.

I've read most of your other posts, so I'm glad you opened up an introduction. Kudos to you for putting forth a little effort to figure out how this forum works. You'll be pro in no time (it's really very easy).

What I'm getting from your posts is that you are isolated in a rural area. Do you have friends/family that you could stay with (or nearby) in a more urban setting that might offer you more opportunities?

Hi Bernard I live in a Ultra rural area, After my mom retires in July she is building 2 houses one for her and one for me they will be attached by like a sunroom type thing and the I will be even more rural. I only have 2 good friends that have stayed with me through all this, mooch works all week and we try to get together on Saturdays, but in the winter, and with my health sometimes it can be hard. My other friend Marie has 1 day off a week which she spents most of the morning in bed and then the rest of the day with her kids trying to make upfor the fact that he's such a SOB, she has to work70a week to keep the house going. We talk on the phone alot, my son says we sound like "stupid teenagers", which at my age I consider a copmliment. My mom have always been really close. When I'm not depressed I like to talk, although I can freak people out because I get a little manic-like right now-sorry I only meant to talk fot a minute

Like Brainy said, my VNS is now a paperweight. I just had it removed this past November. The side effects I experianced far outweighed any benifits. In fact the last side effect I developed, caused me to have it turned off.
