Newbie

Hello all,
While I am a newbie to the site,..I am not a newbie in regards to epilepsy. However, despite the fact that I was diagnosed 17 years ago, I am finding that I am very ignorant in regards to a lot of "stuff" pertaining to epilepsy. I found this site while googling "night sweats/ epilepsy" and have found a lot of useful information on here.
This seems to be a very useful site and I have already added it to my bookmarks.

---I tend to try to take a very lighthearted view upon my epilepsy and often make fun of myself. That has always been my way of coping,.....but I am aware that we all are different and will keep that in mind while posting.
Thanks.

Hi there -
Not sure I am comfortable calling you by your screen name, however... WELCOME to CWE.

There are a few that have your approach, so you will be in good company.
As Bernard reminds us, think of it as his house party, and act accordingly.

I am happy that you are finding useful information. That is my approach. It is where I find my sanity. Glad you joined us.

Welcome to our house

Welcome to our dinner party. I hope you find our little house helpful. It has been terrific for me.

If you go to the epilepsy forum tab, you will see how the house is divided into multiple rooms. Each room has a description of the type of subject matter that you will probably find in that room. Some are very informative, while others are more light-hearted. You sound like you will fit in fine here. But if you are ever unsure about posting something, just refer to the room description and I am sure you will find the best place to post.

We recently added the lemonade stand where we do make fun of ourselves sometimes. The room was added for that reason and carries a warning so that others are not offended.

So have a seat and enjoy your time here at our dinner party.
