NY area looking for a good doctor...

Hi I am from Staten Island and I was wondering if anyone in the area has a doctor they really like. I am new to the site so I hope this is the right place to post this question. Also is it normal to have numb/ tingling feet and be cold all the time? I dont remember it ever being this bad. My hands and feet are always FREEZING!
thanks G

Welcome to the site

Is it possible your hands & feet are cold as a side-effect of medication?

Everytime I tell my Doctor something he says wait it out but some of this stuff is really unbareable... I dont know how much longer I can "wait it out". Hence looking for a new Doctor :-) I thought the same thing. I never had poor circulation before.

Send a message via Yahoo to Meetz1064

Another possibility

is that your thyroid is under-active (speaking as a person who has this problem). A trip to the doctor is in order, and ask for some standard hormone blood tests to check your thyroid hormones---TSH, T3, T4........

Often this tingling of the extremities can be caused by Reynaud's Phenomen, Anemia, Hypoparathyroidism, or Hypocalcemia -- a calcium deficiency. Go to: http://www.healthline.com/symptomsea...s%20And%20Feet
where you can read about symptoms, explore treatments and even find a doctor!

Good luck...

That sounds like a circulatory issue. Have you been checked for diabetes?
