Seizure threshold

Hey all. I already spoke with my neurosurgeon about this but I wanted to get your take on this and who would know better than people with epilepsy? I was seizure free for years and then I got into a car accident. Air bag deployment hit my head all that junk. Do you think that kind of head trauma can lower a seizure threshold?

It can, although not in every case. It may depend if the head trauma leads to a lesion or scar in the brain, or if you have a history of head injuries.
