tolerance to meds

Hi Guys
After suffering fit number 4 in 7 weeks and 2 of them being in the last in two weeks The hospital are now telling me my body and my fits may have became tolerant to my medication. Have any of you guys ever had these problems? I am pencilled in to see my specialist next week and also the A+E where I once again had to attend are trying to get in touch with him to suggest another MRI scan just incase anything has changed

Scouser,

I haven't built up a tolerance to my meds yet, thank goodness. But it certainly happens. Check out this string:

Meds stop working over time?

I have had that happen. I had to be switched to different meds after 2 years because of that very thing. My doc told me that can happen, and depending on your system, it can happen again. Something about your body chemistry cycling itself every few years.......
