$20 000 medical bills wiped clean. Amazing. Last night I opened some mail that was sent to my old adress. I was shocked to find that my medical bills from the county ER and psych ward had been past on and came to $20 000 debt collector. I cried almost all night. I felt like another big burden had been laid on my shoulders. I called them up this morning. I explained what has happened to me this year, epilepsy diagnosis and being seriously ill at the ER. The guy I spoke to said. "Im going to give you a christmas present. Im goig to wipe all of this clean. The only thing I ask before 11th Jan is that you go and apply for food stamps and give me the application number, it doesnt even matter if you are not accpeted" Not sure how that works, but I am completly amazed. I prayed practically all night, I felt so devastated, this bill would have probably been lingering over me for the next 20 years. I got his name, and I am going to call him back after christmas with the application number. I just cannot believe it... that someone would be so kind to do this. He seemed to really understand. I am not hte type to run up debt like this. THe most I ever ran up while a student was $500 on a credit card that i couldnt afford...and that was my own fault for being stupid with money at a young age. I explained i could not help this, and it was not like I went out with a bunch of credit cards on spending spree's I feel like I have spoken to an angel. I have had tears of relief all morning. What an answer to prayer.     |

| So good to hear. Not everything is broken in our health system. Now, when you are able, pay it forward. That is such a good philosophy that can transform whole communities.
