Well, I'll keep my fingers crossed. I can't imagine selling it (2002 Road King with lots of upgrades), even if I can just take it around the block once in a while. Thanks for the input and hope both of you get the change to get back in the front saddle once in a while. Three months...

I stay away from any long hauls right now and off highways but its the only way I can let everything go a relax now a days. I feel for all of you who dont ride anymore. I'm thinking of getting a red Vespa.

It would be for fun in the summer, but also in case I can't drive again, and really need to get somewhere quick for some emergency reason. It would still not exactly be compliant, but on a scooter I may hurt myself, but I won't hurt anybody else.

I saw a used one for pretty cheap at a local motorcycle shop.

I race vintage motocross and compete in vintage trials. I never stop riding, or at least I don't get rid of my bikes.
I ride:
1974 Triumph TR5MX
1974 Can-Am MX-1 250
1974 Honda TL215 hybrid

I have been riding since I was 4 years old, and this won't stop me.

Alex

Awe, I couldn't even bring myself to read the posts in this thread. Was sadly just realizing today that my bike will be parked all summer this year. This is going to be hard...

That sucks man. Well I will have helmet cam action from all the races, so if that helps a bit to fill the void, they will be on youtube. If it just makes it worse, then sorry. There will be more chances for you to ride. Hang in there!
