Her family says 7-year-old Kathleen Edward is in the final stages of a degenerative brain disorder diagnosed as Huntington's Disease - the same disease which killed her mother, Laura, when she was only 24.

Neighbors Jennifer and Scott Petkov, who have been feuding with the family, admitted to posting grim depictions of Laura and Kathleen on Facebook. One photo depicts Laura in the arms of the grim reaper, while the other features Kathleen's face above a set of crossbones.

The couple also have a coffin hitched to a pick-up truck in front of the house, which they say is nothing more than a halloween decoration.

A member of Kathleen's family says the bad blood started about two-years ago after the two families had a falling out over a birthday party at the Rose house. At the party kids were using a "bounce-house" and playing games in the front yard. The source says that Jennifer Petkov texted someone in the Rose family, asking if her kids could come to the event. A response to the text did not come quickly enough and it angered Jennifer. According to the Rose family, she's been harassing them ever since.

He said his employer is considering firing him. She anbd her lawyer were on one of those Entertainment shows last night, like ET, or Extra, or something. She gave a very rehersed apology over the airwaves to the little girl and her family. When the interviewer asked what she learned from all this, she said, "Keep my opinions to myself."

Thanks for the mention of 4Chan. I'd never heard of it. Glad I'm educated on it now. Amazing how stuff is out there on the internet and it's unknown to many of us. And new types of sites and media are growing daily.

My thought plus question - the story about this woman's actions against the little girl came from main stream media, (news organizations on TV, print/newspaper, and reputable e-news organizations), not 4chan. I'm curious where the information came that says the woman in question is on 4chan?

/b/tard or 4chan - it's not entirely clear to me what the difference is - I'm not steeped in their culture. In any event, I thought it was pretty clear that the OP was pointing out how their tactics were used to harrass someone who has no soul.

Endless - when folks on 4chan decide to target someone, they find out who they are, where they live, where the work, etc. by researching everything on the internets (or even using real detective work) and then harrass them anonymously (like ordering hundreds of pizzas to their doorstep). They may decide to target someone just because the target is an asshole (say from the initial news report on the story).

4chan is one imageboard to name one of many. The chans have been around many years and originated from 2chan in 1999. They can be total jerks, like the ones who raided all the epilepsy sites or heroes who have tracked down murders, pedophiles or harmers of cats. But they are also very ruthless and follow along in a hive-mind.

I am almost wondering if that lady really and truely has some mental issues.. with that said what she has done to this family is unforgivable, and i am sorry but if i were to do ANYTHING close to that, my husband would have a friggin fit, so to say that the hubby didn't have anything and that it was all her doesn't fly with me. I feel bad for her kids, and that poor lil girl. We as adults have to remember our actions do effect our children somewhere along that line that heffer didn't learn that. I hope she stays in jail. Thanks for the update on that Chris. As for the 4chan thingy, i think ill be staying away from those sights... always interesting to learn something new!

She lost (some of?) her kids because of this story:

Shortly after Jennifer and current husband Scott Petkov made international news a couple of weeks ago, with their admission of tormenting and bullying a dying 7 year old child, the father of two of Jennifer Petkov’s children filed for an emergency custody hearing.

This week a Wayne County Probate Court judge ruled that Jennifer Petkov’s five year old son and eight year old daughter from a previous relationship will be living with their father until further notice.

Throughout the entire episode of the neighbor’s from hell, the Petkov’s have been deluged with hate mail, pizza’s, death threats and have had their house egged. One of Jennifer’s children was allegedly in a fight at school over defending his mom.

It’s unclear if there’s one or two children still remaining in the Petkov household. I’ll leave that to 4chan and Reddit to disclose.

Numerous people have expressed concern for Jennifer Petkov’s children since learning how absolutely horrid this woman is. The children are innocent victim’s of her parenting skills. Or lack thereof.

Thankfully, Jennifer’s ex, and father of two of her children, stepped up to the plate and asked the court to allow the children to be with him. I applaud this man, who is not seeking attention—-he is choosing to remain anonymous to protect his offspring.

Now where is / are the other dad(s)? I, along with many, are worried about any child in the Petkov household.

Thanks for the update Bernard! Its good to know that at least somewhere in this country children are looked out for. I don't think that i have seen in any of the links how many children that woman has.

I think that people should have to take a parenting class before they have kids. I did eventhough its not a requirement.

Jennifer Petkov was arrested for assault for trying to run over her neighbor, and her trial starts Nov. 30th. Wonder if it will be televised, or if they'll have the transcript online?

Amazing. The bond was for only $75,000, which means she got out of jail for only $7,500. They should have made it 7 million. Another thing that amazes me: Isn't what she did to that little girl assault? Why wasn't she arrested for that?
