BigBrother/BigSister

Hello, Everyone
I would like to try being part of the Big Brother/Big Sister organization. The thing that I find interesting is that part of the application process requires proof of car insurance. I can't drive. Do you think I would I be able to use my mom's insurance? Thanks for your help. ~Ann T.

Hi Ann - How will you be picking up the child, and taking them places?
If you are relying on your mom, then yes I would think that would be an acceptable answer. Otherwise, I think you should write N/A and when asked, you need to respond that you don't drive. You will be taking public transportation.

Hi Robin,
If I qualify & if my mom agrees to it, I'll most likely use her car. I want to become a Big Sister because I see so many kids at school where I work who need attention & guidance. I think the reason they act out & misbehave is they're desperate for attention. Thanks for the advice. By the way, how's your daughter doing? Take care! ~Ann

I guess I am confused.

Rebecca is doing very well, lately. Thanks for asking.

Robin,
Sorry I confused you. What I meant is that I'll have my mom drop off & pick up, but it may depend upon the Big Brother Big Sister organization's protocol. ~Ann
