need a diagnosis

Hey there,

I'm new to this site so I don't know if I can help you with this site, but I do know about a site that's called: wrongdiagnosis and I found that site extremely helpful! You simply log in and explain your symptoms and you should receive plenty of replies. Of course this site may be able to help, but I do know that site is incredibly useful for ALL problems. GOOD LUCK
ps: I would definitely consider seeing another doctor anyway.

Kelvar's website

is a good idea, I think.

Usually a lump under the armpit, is tied to the lymph nodes though. When a lymph node gets filled up, it tends to be fighting an infection of some sort (usually), and so it swells.

It's not ALWAYS the case, but it's quite often the case.

I think that Kelvar's idea of a 2d opinion is a valid one, too....

My friend had a similar thing, it was a noncanerous cyst and they drain it and it went away. Her doc said it's not that uncommon

Sometimes you can get an ingrown hair under your arm and that can cause what you describe. I'd put a warm wet cloth on it for awhile and see if that helps. If it doesn't go away in a week or so, you might want to check it out further but I'm willing to bet that it will!

try not to worry about it. I have a couple of lumps. 1 in my neck,,,umm wont say where the other is lol but I have been told one is a cyst and the lumps in my glands on my neck could just be I am getting an infection... and that could be what yours is... glands are under your arm too. Nearly all cases a lump is nothing serious at all, but I completly understand how scary it is to find something like that.. it totally freaked me out.

Also, remember seizures can take a toll on your body, i wonder if my seizures just run me down a bit and cause a few other health issues.

I have fallen forward so many times that my breasts have lumps. But I do have them checked. I have lots of mass and little lumps. Does it get bigger during your period? It could be water. Go have it checked. You will feel better. Teresa
