Thank you all.
It was great to celebrate it with so many we have been with since the younger years.

She is auditioning with Disney on Ice, to skate with them for a couple of years, and then she has plans to go into Hotel Management.

Grad Night is on campus, and they spent the whole night in spaces created by the parents. It is a tradition at her school from the early years. Way back when, there were students that were killed on Grad Night when it was held off campus. So the parents made a commitment to the community that they would create an environment that the students would not forget.

I have been involved with three of them, and this years did not let them down. It was the theme of Star Wars, and we were lucky to have parents in construction, lighting, and the movie industry. I helped to paint panels that transformed the boys and girls gym into the Death Start with the MII Falcon floating above the tables, and in the other space the forest. Storm troupers came in formation to start the evening.

I have yet to hear about all the details, but today it will be taken down after months of work by the parents, and plans for next years will be underway. It is a bonding experience for the parents, and a way to put a mark on the end of a great school experience for each of us.

Now to finish a skating costume, because she decided she would have enough energy to do a little artistic number on the ice tonight. Tomorrow is a rest day......
