Happy 4th to all of you celebrating.

My husband goes to a local park at 7 am to stake out our spots with blankets and chairs.
We have a small parade down a local street around 5 pm, and then we make our way in to our spot. They put on quite a loud display of fireworks, and local musicians entertain us. I cook up a fun picnic, and we share it all with our friends.

Happy Fourth of July!! Enjoy celebrating this beautiful country we live in!
O'er the Land of the Free and the home of the Brave!!! We are heading to our small town parade and fireworks and fun!!!
P.S.There is a huge e coli beef recall..so before you flip those burgers..double check and cook em good!! And be careful with those fireworks..leave it to the professionals!! : )))

We have Australia Day which is on January 26.



Australia Day, January 26, is the biggest day of celebration in the country and is observed as a public holiday in all states and territories.

On Australia Day we come together as a nation to celebrate what's great about Australia and being Australian. It's the day to reflect on what we have achieved and what we can be proud of in our great nation.

It's the day for us to re-commit to making Australia an even better place for the future.
