I just don't know...

I can't decide if I like chocolate with peanut butter or chocolate with caramel better. Milky Way used to be my favorite, then Peanut Butter Cups, now I can't decide... can I blame my meds for being indecisive? Maybe I just need to have more taste tests...

Reeses, all the way. With occasional detours into Peanut M&M territory.

MMMmmm... Peanut M&M's... But what about Rolo's? Or the Caramel Kisses? OOoo, white chocolate reeses. I like those too. Why do I need chocolate right now? Oh well, why fight it...

Why do you need chocolate??? Why does anybody need chocolate!

Years ago I lived in a house where we all were trying to figure a way to start a religion around chocolate. I still think that's a good idea. Mmmmmmmm.

a handful of peanut m & m 's with fritos TOGETHER--YUMMY but I make sure I have some mini reeses in freezer for that urge-Oh yeah, and a couple paydays hidden. For extreme emergencies I keep a bag of ghirardelli squares-liquid raspberry oozing out of chocolate-they make caramel and mint too.Oh and for any coconut lovers the rafaello by ferraro roche is great and at nearly every store.Sams club carries huge blocks of white and double chocolate by ghirardelli to melt and dip--makes the best dipped pretzels, peanut clusters and frozen grapes

It's only 6.30am here but reading this thread has made me want chocolate lmao.

The American candies are so yum, my American friend sometimes sends me candies & my favorites have to be Fanny May or anything with Peppermint in it.

I hadn't heard of a couple of the candies/chocolates mentionde though so had to google them lmao

Ok, after several samples it was close, but I think today's winner was the Fast Break. However, tomorrow may prove different results so there will be another experiment accomplished. If the results prove different the testing will continue until some sort of overall sense can be made from the chocolate madness. My hope is that the insanity will continue and I will be eating and enjoying chocolate sweets from now until I die.

Talking chocolate

I love all of the above, it's so bad, but I do indulge on occasion! My favorite cookies to fix at home are called simply - cookies w/o baking, done on the stove top. They consist of cocoa, oatmeal, evaporated milk, peanut butter, butter (yeah), sugar and vanilla. Another all time fav of my family is Reeces peanut butter cake. It has a pound of confectioners sugar in the icing alone, so holidays is the only time I make it, otherwise I am sure my rear would take on a new look, and I would have to be forced to enter all doorways sideways

Thumbs up

I LOVE chocolate. Reese's are totally the way to go. Milky ways are a good number two option but Three Musketeers are better

I adore chocolate but I'm constantly in agony because about 6 or 7 blocs away from me are 3 chocolate shops in a 2 block radius (excluding the Dairy Queen another couple blocks down) . One that just sells chocolate, another that sells chocolate & ice-cream & another that just sells chocolate but will custom make it for you any way you like it.

So far none of the employees at any of these stores recognize me & I see that as a sign that I've been a good boy & properly restraining myself.

COOKIES WITHOUT BAKING:

2 c. sugar
1 stick butter
1/2 c. evaporated milk
melt in pot on stove top, boil for one & a half minutes (stirring), take off the fire.
Add:
cocoa to liking
3/4 c. peanut butter
3 c. oatmeal

mix together and drop by tsp. or Tbs. onto aluminum foil. will harden quickly, so gotta make haste! All of the above can be made with 100% organic ingredients, or the plain industrial strength chemical laden stuff. Great with morning coffee, lunch, dinner, midnight snack, etc...
WARNING: can be addictive.

Oh, I have made these-it's just been a long time! I used to love to cook, but have not had the energy in a long while, and the kids are gone, and that leave me to eat them. I cannot be trusted with that amount of chocolate around! I love these cookies! I make a real new york cheese cake that weighs about 10lbs, and $50 dollars to make, depending how much a vanilla bean is going for at the time. It is a heart attach waiting to happen, but sooo good. Luckily I only make it for special occasions. My favorite is swirled with chocolate of course, with home-made rasberry sauce on top.

I love making the no bake chocolate oatmeal cookies!! Usually, I only do it for the holidays, because I could eat the whole batch by myself (and another 2 or three). For some reason, I can never seem to get them to harden though. Sometimes they do, sometimes they don't. Oh well, they always taste the same. As for the chocolate bars, I was always a fan of the Milky Way, or the 3 Musketeers. But you can get your chocolate, peanut, AND caramel if you go with the Snickers!! :+) Right now my absolute favorite is a Butterfinger. It's a fight to go into a store and not buy one of them.
