I think I saved someones life today ! FIRE

Evening. Wnated to post this earlier, infact this happened shortly after my other post today.

Was doing some laundry, next thing I heard my neighbour shreak. I ran outside, and the apartment complex next to us (we are in houses next to it) was on fire... and when I say fire.. i mean... FIRE FLAMING UP TO HTE SKY

For some odd reason, the others were not coming out the apartments ! so we started screaming FIRE over and over and they started to come out. We had to break down part of the fence between us since the way out for them was by the apartment that was up in flames.......

Next thing I notice.. is one of the people who live there IDIOTICALLY... gttig a small hose and spraying it on the fire.... i could NOT BELIEVE IT .. the fire was ENOURMOUS...what was he thinking ? I started screaming at him to move.. and he ignored me.

Then for some odd reason I just "knew" (have no idea how) that it was goign to explode up there (1st floor balcony where he was.. and the fire) so I screamed again "GET OUT OF THE WAY OF THE ******** FIRE ITS GOING TO ****** EXPLODE" .. I guess this got his attention .. and he ran away from it.. and about 5 seconds later... RIGHT WHERE HE WAS STANDING... the windows blew out .. followed with fire...

I guess he was in shock cause he just walked off and Im stood there shocked myself. If I had not screamed like that.. he could have been dead by glass or one crispy critter.

I cannot believe how rapid fire spreads.. it went into the one next door so quickly....firecrew got here just ontime becuase any longer and hte tree would have gone up and that would have caused these houses to catch fire.

I realized in the midst of this I was dog sitting for hte neighbour (not in the apartment complex thankfully) ran in to get their dog......

So, one apartment .. is gone... after the firecrew put it out they knocked down what was left I guess incase it would fall... and I dont know about the other because I left and its dark now so I cannot really see.

Cant believe it.. cant believe had I not sworn and screamed at that man....he would have been blasted by glass and fire...and I have no idea how I knew something was going to explode.

Have not heard what caused it but I do know: the apartment was vacant nobody living there....THANKFULLY and they were doing it up for the next person to move in .. so I guess whoever was repairing stuff perhaps made a mistake.

pheeeeeeeeeeeeewwwwwwwwwwww what a day.

What a day you had! You are a hero, and I am sure you will have some stories to tell for some time. I hope you get some rest tonight.

You're definitely a hero Vapour!

It never ceases to amaze me how little common sense some people have -- it's good you were around to save his unthinking self.

Thanks for what you did today.

A hero never sets out to be one. They are just in a circumstance and react the best they know how (even if it requires cussing).
