Thumbs up Awesome Birdy!

I love a good Halloween house! I like to make 'em EARN the treat!...too scared! = too bad! ......unless you're a little one---then the mask's come off and lights go on and scary music turns off, etc....extra double-handful of candy!!!!!

Bummer for me though...I ended up pullin' the 'walk the kids around the neightborhood duty!.....and most of the neighbors weren't even home this year!

Oh well, maybe next year!

You're house looks AWESOME Birdbomb My daughter would have loved to have trick or treated somewhere like that. There was one house close to us (a funeral director) who had a casket on a table with mummy inside and someone was hiding underneath the table who would grab your leg while someone would come at you from the woods with a real chain saw. Scared the you know what outta me, but the kids loved it.

Thank you kindly! I love Halloween. But alas, the poor purple spider, Charlot may not survive another year, so I may have my son build me a casket. Thanks for the idea, I can really expand on that one!

This year my 8 year old was Spider-man, my 6 year old was a pirate and my 3 year old was Cookie Monster. I do have to say that Cookie Monster was a HUGE hit!! Everyone thought he was so cute. Ty (my son) doen't even know who cookie monster is, he just heard the word monster so that's what he wanted to be. He would growl at everyone thinking he was a real monster. We had a lot of fun and boy do we have the candy ~ too bad a started a diet 3 weeks ago

BB, your house looked great. I'm sure all the kids appreciated the effort you put into it.

We let our boys keep only a couple of pieces of candy from their trick or treating. The rest gets donated to a local church. The kids get to pick out a toy in exchange for giving up the candy.

Happy Halloween!

AWESOME House, Birdy!

We just got back from Salem, Ma yesterday. They do a great job with Halloween. I haven't been on this site long enough to post pictures so you'll have to wait till next year to see some of the cool costumes.

We cut the trip in half this year due to my daughters seizures. We still had a great time and I'm happy to say that my daughter only had one small seizure at night without waking. Phew!

I went as

A construction worker for Habitat for Humanity. We have a charity parade at work. I once volunteered for H4H, partially cuz we had to write about various civic organizations at work, partially cuz I met some interesting people, partially cuz it relieved stress. (Bang around with a hammer for a while.)
