My first ever holiday abroad!

My mum was planning a holiday to Spain for her 40th this year, and i'm going too, with her and my dad! I wasn't too excited, as i probably wouldn't get my passport in time, but it came yesterday!

Oooh i don't know how i'm going to get to sleep for the next 3 weeks! Apartment is booked, i've paid for my flights, and i should have plenty of spending money. Plus i have a spanking new passport and i've never had one before - the picture isn't even that bad.

I'm 23 and this is my first ever passport It's a place called Torrevieja. Apparently it's quite nice.

I didn't think they'd accept my photo cos i was smirking slightly. My brother was trying to make me laugh while i was in the photo booth When i went for my interview i had to wear that same smirk/half smile all the way through so they'd think that's what my face normally looks like

Oooh ooh ooh! And the best thing is that i lost another 9lb since last time i went to the docs 3 weeks ago (Thats about 2 and 3 quarters of a stone since June - thats 37lb)

So when me and my mum get paid at the end of the month, we're going holiday clothes shopping! Also getting my hair cut and styled. Oooh i'm all excited!

Ah thats ok - i'm a real summer person so i love the heat. Pale skinned though, so i smother myself in high factor suncream, and wear some really daft hats!

This time next Thursday I'll be just arriving in Spain, woohoo! I can't wait for a whole two weeks off work cos i've been very stressed lately.

I've done the last of my holiday shopping, and have some cool outfits to take with me

Also ordered extra meds etc, got my holiday insurance now, everything is all paid for and i got some Euro's last week, yay!

Congratulations! I loved traveling overseas when I was younger... Still love to travel and strongly recommend it to almost everybody. You'll have to post pictures you know!

Apparently it's a nice quiet place we're going to - which suits me fine! I'd rather take in sights and relax then go out partying and having a mad time.

I've never had the inkling to go abroad before, but i would quite like to see the south of France.
