Unhappy My Greatest Fear on Using This Site and Other Like It!

Hi All!

My greatest fear of using site and others like this is that I would upset some one and then get banned from using the site. The reason for this fear - mostly illogical is because some people whom live near me, thier friends, thier relatives and other aquantances say to every one they meet that I upset people on purpose - as I enjoy it. This is completely not true - I try to prevent upsetting people at all costs!!! I hate to upset people!!!

I certanly hope that while using this site and other like it that I never upset any one whom is using it in any which way - not matter how small! As far as I know whille using the site and others like it I never have. I certainly hope that my assumations are correct!!! If I'm wrong about this - or in the future do upset any one on here am sending my apologies in advance. If I ever do upset you - please contract me and I will apologise to you.

Is my fear unreasonable? Have I upset any one this site? If so, please let me know so I can upset you!!! Or is it I just upsetting myself with the idea that I may upset people? Please can you let me know?!?! It would be greatly appreciated!!! Should I try to ignore my neighbours whom are telling people I upset people for fun??? I know I should really and that they are not worth playing attention to. But like the loser/fool I am I do - and let what they say get to me!!!

Susan

I think your fears are unfounded. No-one here is going to judge you, just be yourself!

Sometimes people don't agree on subjects, but hey, that's life.

Try not to worry so much *hugs*

Hi Loopy Lou!

Thanks, yes I know that - and accept it fully. Other people's opinions don't bother me really at all. Nor, do I want other people to agree with what I say either. I welcome to read and hear other people's opinions on various topics - for various reasons. One reason is because it would be a very dull and boring world with every one agreed and every one was the same. Much better that people are different and have different opinions on various topics - makes the world much more interesting and fun. Another reason is that by reading/hearing other people's opinions on things - you get another side to the topics. This brings up to another reason - by hearing/reading other people's opinion on various topics - they bring up ideas/things you haven't thought of - and this can be very helpful/informative/supportive at times!!!

When I say that I worry about upsetting people its more along the lines of hurting people's feelings - that type of thing! Understand?

Once again thanks for your supportive - it is greatly appreciated!

Not too worry -- you'd have to try pretty hard to get booted from CWE. As at any "dinner party", there are occasional arguments or misunderstandings, so the moderators keep an eye on things and steer folks away from touchy subjects. If someone appears out of line, folks should PM Bernard or any of the mods to get help. Generally things get sorted out privately. If someone persists in causing trouble then they might get an infraction and a temporary ban. It's only when all other measures are exhausted that someone would be asked to leave the party.

If we can't accept each other for who we are, then who are we to blame others for not accepting us? I will never judge any of you. I have a crazy life. No memory. My son is ill, I have been raped a few times, brain surgery that made every thing go worse, a coma, infection in the brain, a husband that beat on me. Come on, I'm aloud to be a bit strange huh? I love all of you, and I love my son and myself. Don't you worry about what others think. As long as you love yourself you are just fine. By the way, sorry for all the info.lol Teresa

I know that I put my foot in my mouth many times on here and in public.

It seems usually when you do it in public people don't understand and look down on you for saying it and think that what was said is not the right thing that you should have said, even if you really didn't mean what you said and it came out wrong. (Did that make sense?)

On here it seems that everyone understands because many of us do the same thing. On here too, I like the fact that you can read over what you typed in and edit it if needed. Also you have time to think about what you want to say where as in public it just comes out right away.

As said above there are arguments about things, but usually they are trying to figure out what is the best way to handle things.

Also if I have offended anyone, I'm sorry too and please let me know.

I do love this site for those reasons!

Never worry about something that hasn't happened. CWE is one of the most laid back forums I have ever seen. And take my word for it, getting banned is the hardest things to do here. Bernard cuts a lot of slack and has tons of excellent advice for members who do exhibit problems.

Life is short, save your worries about the weather, money and sex!
