Neighbors garbage can

How many weeks does my neighbors garbage can have to end up in my yard after trash day and stay there for days before it's mine?

I've put it back in their yard twice now. This last time it was in my yard for 3 days and I just got sick of looking at it so I put it back in their yard. They've even seen me put it back in their yard too.

It's a really nice garbage can so I'd like to know what the rule is on keeping it.

put your name and address on the nice one and give your neighbors yours with their name and address on it. Next time it ends up in your yard, call the city to have it removed. I used to live next door to some wonderful people and she worked for the city. You are within your rights to have it picked up as yard waste! Since it is in your yard, and you don't want it = waste
