| I am going to tell you that was the right thing to do. If you and Duncan were meant to meet then phooey on everyone else. Give him a great big hug from me. I am so holding back on getting another kitty.... it is hard though.

| If I had my own place I would love to more than one dog from the animal shelter. It would make me feel like I did something good. You gave them a great home to live in. Like Robin said give them a Big hug for her. Do the same for me. LOL. I love animals. What kind of dog what he/she? Good job!

| Thank you!! I felt so good about getting a dog, and everyone had to rain on my parade. I renamed him tippy, and he has that big ole dog temperment. ho hum about everything. Very smart, already know that my lazy boy is the best chair ever and everytime he comes into the living room he jumps into it. Thats not going to last!!! Now its down to the business of potty training. At least at 5 months he can hold his bladder longer than a younger puppy. Oh and I think it was meant to be. Tippy was brought into the pound on my bday. Last edited by Lisa; 09-29-2008 at 03:13 AM. |

| Sometimes animals can be the best companions to everyone. They never judge and love you no matter what. Congratulations to both you and Tippy!! I'm sure you'll be great for each other. Josie |

| Duncan is adorable! Why do people think it is a bad idea...cannot imagine why it would be bad to have a lovable dog and to give a home to one without one. I had adopted Boo in 1996 and then Rosie in 2004. I adopted Belle this January....a lot of it had to do with the fact that Boo was getting very old...he was in good health, just not as playful as he use to be with Rosie. I knew Boo was getting to the age (for a big dog), that we could lose him. I also knew how dogs go thru depression when losing their companion and knew it would be helpful to have Belle for Rosie when that day came. (Plus I am a sucker for animals...would have a million of them!). Vet told me that it was a good idea too. Boo passed away in his sleep on September 1st. I am still grieving his loss...but having the girls help. Rosie wouldn't eat or drink for 2 days after Boo died...but slowly she is getting better (she weighed 63 lbs before he died, she lost 7 lbs in 1st week) and Belle has been a godsend for her. My dogs are my best friends |

| Awww....how cute! If anyone gives you hassle, you can always say that you're training him to be your seizure assist dog.
