Great Kelly

I am glad it worked out. He is not on medicine or just not Lamictal. Was Lamictal causing part of the problem?

That is wonderful. I am happy for you.

he is still on tegretol and keppra. the lamictal didn't seem to make a lot of difference to his seizures so the dr decided to take him off it once he seizures seemed to be under control.

I am on Neurontin and Keppra. My neurologist told me to take a Vitamin B complex pill a day. It works. My doctor is working on taking me off of my Neurontin. He feels the same way about Neurontin as your doctor did about Lamictal.

That is great that his seizures are under control. I am really happy for you. That is great!!

Wow Kelly

Congrats on making 14 weeks. I think it sounds longer when you say 3 1/2 months. I'm knocking on wood that this keeps up.

Kelly,

This is great for you. I know one person who has remained seizure free for over 2 years. You are on your way to the 2 year mark!!

Hi Everyone! I know it's been awhile and I've been meaning to update this for a little while, better late than never. It's been 6 months since my baby boy had a seizure! Halfway to weaning him off his medication. It's been so great as I'm sure you can all imagine. Thanks for your support.

1 Year!!!!

Hi Everyone!

Just thought I would share the excitement that my beautiful boy has now been seizure free for 12 months! We have just visited with his dr who has decided to look at reducing his medication when our 2nd baby is 6 weeks old (in about 12 weeks time...ooh, that sounds scary! In 12 weeks time I will have a 6 week old baby, eek!)

I hope you are all well. Merry Christmas and a Happy New Year to you and your families.

Great news, Kelly. Let us know how you're doing in 12 weeks, with another newbie, okay?

Merry Christmas.

Hello!

Aiden has made it nearly 15 months without a seizure so the dr has started to decrease his tegretol by 1ml per month so it will be a slow process but hopefully an uneventful one.

ps Things are going well with 2 boys although my husband goes back to work on monday so it might get a bit scary then....
