"One Woman, 31 Days of Halloween Makeup"

Could you execute a new Halloween makeup idea for 31 days straight? That's exactly what Alabama-based photographer Amanda Chapman has done for three years in a row.

In 2012, she began creating the looks to boost her family's spirits after her husband was diagnosed with Non-Hodgkins lymphoma. From posting the pictures on her Facebook page, she quickly gained a following, and now she uploads a new costume every day each October. Though you wouldn't guess it from the photographs, Chapman has no formal training in makeup artistry. Her work ranges from the scary to the silly, and all of it proves that anyone can create a cool Halloween look (provided enough creativity, time, and practice, of course).

This is sad & happy at the same time. It stinks that her family or any family needs to battle with this disease. But it's great to see a fun way to keep her family's spirits up.
