Our New Arrival "Gypsy"

We have had a great day welcoming our new arrival into the family!!! Her name is Gypsy she is a 12 year old 14.2hand tobiano cob and she has been a real superstar today after a 5 hour journey in a horse box from the other side of the country.

I lead her on a walk out to stretch her legs and then she laid her head on my shoulder and started to doze off. The locals galloped towards us to be nosey and she didn't even flinch at this sight (I did). She has behaved perfectly all day.

I have attached a picture of her in her new field

She has some big feet! Love her markings.
We had an appaloosa 17.5 hands and sweet natured like your new horse.

Yes, she does has some book feet, I am going to make sure that my toes are nowhere near hers at all times.

Wow 17h thats big, the tallest horse I have ever been on was 18h and I needed a stepladder on top of the mounting block to get on, once I was on, getting off was an issue (I am only 5' nothing)

Old Man is a BIG guy, 6'2" 275 lb (at that time.) Needed a big horse. I never rode her, not much of a horse person myself but Old Man is a cowboy and owned several horses over the years. Shoot! he even did rodeo but endurance rides were favorites. Never saw anyone who LIKED the smell of hores manure like he does. LOL!

Mishka was his last horse, I'll see if I can find a photo of her.
