Stink Bugs

I don't know if that's the actual name for them, but I live in western PA near Pittsburgh and we have a real problem with them in this area.

We've tried everything that people have said or that we've heard on tv to try to get rid of them but I'm finding at least one a day, but it's usually more than that.

Short of calling an exterminator does anyone know of a way to kill them? I live in an older house too so I'm sure there's lots of places in here that they've found to hide.

Oh my gosh we have them everywhere year round here in northern Ohio.Worst in Fall they cover my windows, like a horror movie. We had to move our boxes of Christmas decor inside there were live ones in my ceramic houses and then we would kill them and set the houses up and more would hatch or something it was gross. They fly into your hair and on your walls,Ill bet you i kill five a day in the winter and in the summer its awful.funny,I dont see them on things outside here, just on our windows trying to get in-dead ones on the window ledge every week when i dust.Last week a live one crawled down my back when I was sitting in my chair watching tv.Wish I could help, our neighbour is a professional exterminator and he says there is no way to get rid of them.Last summer we had fleas down in our garage ALL FLIPPING SUMMER so we were exterminated and steam cleaned to high heaven and it made not a bit of difference.Either does putting that stuff in your yard that kills all those bugs-that was done religiously for 3 yrs because we live next to woods and our property was abandoned and overgrown for 2 yrs and we are trying to clean it up and reclaim it from mother nature. If you come across anything let me know-Funny my parents live 14m south and have never heard of them!

Someone told my husband to spray Febreze around the doors, windows and any where else that you think they might be coming in at. So we tried that, in the middle of winter. I'll bet he used half a bottle spraying every were. We had to open all the windows because we couldn't breathe. It was really fun sitting in a freezing house gagging until it finally aired out!
