the 'Street' turns the BIG 4-0!

Hi, Everyone!

If you're one of the ol' timers around here(and even if you're not), this a site to check out! http://jezebel.com/5270444/10-awesom...-sesame-street. 1 of my classmates from way back when posted it on his facebook page. I love the clip when Ernie has a bout w/ insomnia, which I'm sure a lot of us can relate to. Take care! ~Ann

Oh wow! I loved the ladybug picnic...and the c is for cookie. I remember watching sesame street with my mom. That was how she learned to speak English! I loved cookei monster, Mr. Hooper, and burt and ernie....Did anyone else have one of those Sesame Street toys that looked like the buildings? You opened it up (it was hinged and box shaped...) and each side had the fronts of the buildings....It came with all the characters made out of plastic...big bird, burt and ernie, mr. Hooper, oscar the grouch..this was pre-elmo. I loved the show. And that was one of my favorite toys...*sigh* thanks for the stroll down memory lane Ann! Those were wonderful memories.... Here's the toy ....

Thanks for fixing the link so others could enjoy, Meetz! I'm very happy that both you & Skilley enjoyed it so much.
