Swaptree

I was told of this site today and I think it is an interesting concept.
I figured many here would find it useful

There is quite a few of those sites around.

Some specialize in books, games, or movies. While most offer all three. They all pretty much work the same way. You sign up for free, list things you want to get rid of, people pay for them with the pts used on the site, then you send (you pay s/h) the items to those members. With pts you can request items from other members. But there are some sites out there that require you to buy trading pts from the site.

My recommendation is to be very selective with the site(s) you decide to use. Look for the following items:

1. The site is free to sign up.
2. A 1 to 1 pt system, or fair pt scale system (you should be able to be the judge here).
3. You don't need to "pay to make trades".
4. Your only out of pocket expense is to "mail items to the requester".

There are a few other things to look for. But they are personal preference of media standards. Of course, always use common sense with these sites. If items sound too good to be true, most likely they are. Happy trading.

I created plantswap.net a while back for folks to be able to trade plants/seeds and it's a completely laissez faire medium.
