Thanks folks

Hi Everyone;

I'm sitting here in my hotel room, bored rigid, knackered after mucking about with foreign currency all day - missing my wife & kids who I won't see 'til late Wed/early Thurs.

I've got my laptop, TV and all of you for company - but I just wanted to write and say thank you so, so much for all your friendships, advice and companionship in the short time I've been a member.

I truly didn't think I would enjoy myself this much nor would the thoughts of everyone here prove so invaluable. You really have been great, I appreciate it so much & hope you feel able to put up with me for a lot longer.

I'm off to bed now. Got an early start tomorrow.

Thanks again, Take Care & Love you all.

Col. xx

You're welcome! And thank you for joining to the CWE dinner party! Aside from our generous host Bernard, the guests are what make this fabulous party... fabulous. Now I'm off to the punchbowl for another swig.

That was a nice post to read. Thanks Col.
It has been a great place for us too.... well.... for me, as a place to help my daughter.
Conventional medicine will need to adapt as we have found new ways to research our medical needs.
It has been invaluable for me, to find the answers so that my daughter is now 7 months seizure free.

Awww, thanks

Col! Mr B has given us a great place to hang out, and just BE. And the dinner party IS quite grand, isn't it?

I'm off to find something yummy to drink--heaven knows it's NOT my coffee. And yes, there's plenty of friends to make here--and we're MORE than happy to have you!

Right back at you Col. You get out of the forum what you put into it.

Col, I haven't been on as much as I use to be. Right now I am enjoying the longest period of being seizure free. It's has been a little over 13 months. When I got diagnosed with E, I had no idea where to find out more, talk with others. When I searched the web, I found this site and a couple more. The other sites did not appear to me to be very helpful or supportive...but this forum was a totally different story. I credit this site with helping me, both physically and emotionally. The time with the doc is so limited, and in the beginning I didn't know how to ask or what to ask. I actually only told my 2 sons and best friend during the first 9 months. I didn't understand it...so how could I explain it to others when they asked.
Everyone here is great.....I think this has also helped me in feeling more secure about having E. Glad you found our home away from home. Happy Thanksgiving from Texas!

Hiya dfw. So glad to learn of your enhanced seizure-free period. Long may it continue. Youv'e no idea how grateful I am to have found CWE. Like you, I rooted round a couple of sites but, if anything, many of the posts, etc. were so dated, that in itself put me right off.

Anyway if the good folk on here can put up with a lunatic like me, then theyr'e at the top of my list.

BW; Col.
