Top 10 WORST Holiday Treats - What's Your YUCK? POLL

Here's another Holiday Top 10 Poll
with a Twist ... the Yuck-O-Matic!

Coming from the Popular Resource
List of the most loathed but yet
they receive them (WHY? Because
the person who made it doesn't
like it themselves?) as "gifts", as
two people made a comment and
I will quote partial comments:

Quote :
I already know what I am going to get for Christmas, that damned old fruitcake that I've been getting it for the damned past 17 years!
Quote :
(Censored) the fruitcake! Gimme cash!

Feel Free to make any comments you please!

The Poll is Public!

Here's the MAIN POLL:

Top 10 Holiday Treats - What's Your Favorite? POLL

Smile

Folks - I just had to add some of those quirky
quotes that I had found in some of my resources
for I found them to be downright hilarious!

Grrrrrrrrrr!

One of my Pet Peeves is receiving those
danged GOLD Chocolate Coins which I agree
with the "quote" above, they are indeed more
trouble than they are worth!

And Gum Drops? Gee! Did you know they will
stick to the walls, ceiling, and a lot of other
stuff? (Just don't tell my mom that!) Not just
your teeth only! To me personally, they tasted
like sugary toothpaste!

What's with KFC Family Holiday Feast? Had it
several times and I also have to agree with the
"quote" - that's for "Summer Time" - it just
does not "fit" for the season, I am sorry; I
guess - it may be just me, but this is something
for the "outdoorsy, picnic type thingy".

And as for Life Savers? I'd rather have Altoids
in Dark Chocolate or Dark Chocolate Mint, but
if I wanted something with holes in it, I'd head
to Dunkin' Donuts and grab some Donut Holes!

Shortbread Cookies! *gag* Is there an end to
these things? I'd rather they save their money
and buy me a bag of Oreo Cookies or better yet,
MINT Oreo Cookies!

Eggnog - Why ruin it? There's nothing better
than a perfect homemade Eggnog! Egg Nog Rocks!

Gingerbread Men - *gag* - ate that once, and
never again! I only use gingerbread to build houses,
and OH - that's what Gum Drops are for, they're
to stick on the Gingerbread Houses!

:::: smacks head ::::

NOTE: My browser went out while I was voting
so not all my votes went through if you went
to see my votes tallied up, I had to manually
put in my votes in.

Thumbs up

What's wrong with fruitcake, the homemade stuff that is? I make one every year; this year I'm trying Alton Brown's recipe from the Good Eats episode.

Fruitcake maybe ok homemade but not store bought.

Gingerbread men dont care for them. Better for kids to make.

Rum and Eggnog good to have near Christmas.

Shortbread cookies are good but there are better cookies than that.

Lifesavers gummies are year round and there is better candy than that.

Gold chocolate coins the wrapper is a pain to get off. More chocolate or better brand.

Chocolate covered cherries I never liked cherries.

Gum drops are year round.

Sugar plums dont like.

KFC- dont think so. Christmas is a homemade dinner with your family not a fastfood. I dont like fastfood anyways.

I hate fruitcakes!

But hey? What's wrong with KFC? Mom told me about the polls she made and read them off to me and I thought "What??" and made her come online for me! I would take a KFC on the 24th and the Holiday Ham on the 25th. My kind of a Holiday Dinner! Now I am hungry for some KFC! This is like, so unfair!

I think McDonald's gift certificates belongs up there! Stop to think of it: You just been given $5 gift certificate and like what are you supposed to buy for "free"? I am always having to shell out money out of my own pocket to pay up! That's fair game here!

Chocolate Covered Cherries?????

How could anyone NOT like chocolate covered cherries? They are the best Christmas candy with the possible exception of Hershey's Kisses.

Of course there is also that homemade peanut butter and chocolate candy called BUCKEYES!

I don't eat any of that stuff. I don't eat anything that's bad for the body.

gotta agree with Buckeye...chocolate covered cherries are one of my favorites.

Hey, Buckeye--you tried the Hershey's kisses that taste like cherry cordials? Combining 2 good candies into one really good one
