Turn it off, get head phones or GO TO BED!!!

My husband has been listening to music on his cell phone, which doesn't sound that great to be listening to, for the last 4 hours, half the time he's been singing to the songs too (can't sing at all).

He's been falling asleep starting to snore in the chair so I try to take the phone out of his hand. He wakes up and I tell him to go to bed, it's late (for him at least). When he wakes up he tells me "I'm awake listening to this" then 5 minutes later he's snoring again. I've been trying to get him to go to bed for the last 4 hours but he just won't!

GO TO BED!!!!!

Sorry need to yell, don't care if anyone replys or not!!!!

I say leave him in the chair and you go to bed. At least you won't have to listen to his snoring if he's in the other room! (Snoring is one the the many things I don't miss about my soon-to-be ex!)

Now he's playing games!!!!!!

He's not on facebook or I would, he'd kill me though.

I would go to bed but my bedroom (we sleep in seperate bedrooms mainly because of the snoring) is right beside the living room, where he's messing around with his phone. I can't sleep with the bedroom door closed, don't know why, just can't do it.

I can try unplugging his phone and let the battery drain out, but that would probably take at least an hour.

Hope you don't mind if I borrow that sometime, Cathy. Seriously, it's surprising it isn't already a word.

Glad to hear the happy ending, valerie.

Hope today you can relax. And I agree with suggestion that you videotape your hubs when he claims he is awake and listening to music (and is snoring instead).

OMG sounds Exacly like my husband! My husband snores like a PIG! He got tested for sleep apnea and turns out he has it! So he has to use a sleeping machine. But when it comes to nights that his overly tired, it doesnt work the best! All husbands have something that just annoys us!

My grandma told me this the other day and I thought it was pretty funny:

If you think it's bad now when you only have to put up with him all day long when he's got the day off, wait till he retires and you've got him 24/7!!!!

I've also learned from her that all guys are the same, and it keeps getting worse as they get older.

As she always tells me too - You can't live with them but you can't live with out them!

I should imagine listening to music on a cell phone is dangerous. The Signal still reaches the phone even if you are not making a call and to have it close to your head or close by you is unwise. Recent research states men should not keep cell phones in their pockets. I keep mine far away enough to hear it but not physically on me.

That sounds just like my dad! So frustrating!

Then he'd fall asleep on his chair snoring and because my bedroom was directly above, the snores reverberated through the walls to my room lol.

So glad i have my own place now
