| No it is not a fire fly ... though I remember seeing them when I visited my sister in VA. We don't have them around SoCA. No it is not a spider... but we do have plenty of them here. Have seen far too many Black Widows. |

| OK, we're up to 16 questions, so far all we've got is that it's an insect that is sometimes kept as a pet & is not a firefly or spider.

| I'd say ants (or an ant). It's the only other insect I can think that is ever kept as a pet
