UPDATE: FAY - A RECORD / Plus Fay -vs- Lawnmower - Who Wins?

Oh - how I watch the weather - holding you in my heart ...... and on my TV !

I'm very grateful to know "exactly" where you live. Some times on the Internet we only know that people we care about live in 'Florida' (or the SW - yikes!!) and then don't know how things are going when there is serious trouble there. So, again, many thanks.

Just to let everyone know, I got an email from Sharon on the 22nd and she was hanging in there, but having some (power/computer/network) problems staying on the internet.

Finally I'm back. Sick of FAY!
Will upload some photos and
post a comment once I get
the photos uploaded from my
other computer.

But meanwhile FAY has done
something to FLORIDA that no
Tropical Storm or Hurricane has
ever done before...

STRIKE US FOUR TIMES in FOUR
DIFFERENT DIRECTIONS - by coming
ashore, going off shore, and coming
back, and forth - tearing up this
place.

Devoured the entire State

Rain was measured in FEET not
inches in much of this State!

Other things about FAY not just with
this State - She spawned more TORNADOES
than any Tropical Storm on the record books!

I believe FAY will become a "retired" name
because of what she had did and done and
it was historical.


Simply put - people were SICK of FAY!
She just flatly refused to go away!

Now - "Gus" ... while the predictions
are implying wise and otherwise, but
the build up of Gustav we will most
likely get a brush of him on my end.

I have learned about Tropical Storms & Hurricanes.

No matter what - You cannot, and will not, WIN
against your attempts in mowing your lawn in these
storms, no matter how high your grass is!

News here this morning is reporting about Gustav.They are comparing it on the same scale as the New Orleans hurricane 2 years ago.
